Monster Invasion!

St James has been invaded by a troop of monsters!  But don't worry, these guys are on our side.

At a recent School Council meeting, the children felt that they wanted somewhere in class that they could share their worries or feelings.  As a result, we came up with the idea to create a monster for each class (and the library) that will be on hand to devour any unhelpful thoughts.  Each week, the Head Pupils will remind the teachers to have a rummage, and any worries that need support will be assisted by a trusted adult. 

The School Council also decided which boxes should go to each class, so their 'pupil voice' has been well and truly heard!  Ask your child which monster their class has adopted.
