School Notices
- Anxiety Talk for Parents and Carers - following the success of Primary Mental Health Worker Nikki Brunton Smith's previous talk for parents and carers we would like to organise another. Before we do, we would like to canvas parents and carers to find out the best time to arrange this. Please read the letter on our Parent Portal and complete the online form if you are interested.
- Half Term Holiday and INSET Day - we hope you all have a lovely break next week. Please remember that we also have our 2nd INSET Day on Monday 30th October and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Tuesday 31st October.
- Christmas Card Project - we have now received details back from the Christmas Card Project and will be sending home copies of your children's lovely Christmas designs and details of how to place your order. Please place your order by the deadline of midnight on Tuesday 31st October. Orders placed after this date will not contribute to the PTA fundraiser and will incur a separate postage charge. Items ordered by the deadline will be posted to school on Tuesday 14th November. Details for ordering will also be available on the Parent Portal.
- PTA Second-Hand Uniform Shop - Danielle Sleightholme will be opening up the PTA Uniform Store at school pick-up on Friday 3rd November to allow parents and carers to browse the available items. All items are good quality and much cheaper than brand new, so do set aside time to look to see if she has an item that your child needs.
- Drop in sessions with our Home School Link Worker, Helen Owen - The role of the Home School Link Worker (HSLW) is to support families with a range of issues at home or at school. 1:1 sessions are available on Wednesdays. To book an appointment, email Helen on hslw@st-james-elstead.surrey.sch.uk or ring the school office to request a call back.

Ministry of Elstead - Saturday 18th November - Tickets selling out fast! They cost £12 per person and can be purchased here. Thanks so much to parent/DJ Tristan Cleaver for supporting the PTA again
