Let's get active outside of school as well as in school - Waverley Primary Schools Cross Country RUNNING EVENT - 18^th November 1pm at Glebelands School, Cranleigh. The emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. Three other running events follow throughout the year. You are welcome to go to one or more of the events. You just need to turn up on the day and register at the event and pin on your number and run! Please see the letter on the Parent Portal for more information. PTA Second-Hand Uniform Shop - Danielle Sleightholme will be opening up the PTA Uniform Store at school pick-up today, Friday 3rd November to allow parents and carers to browse the available items. All items are good quality and much cheaper than brand new, so do set aside time to look to see if she has an item that your child needs.
Whole School Ramble for Children In Need Friday 17th November - It is nearly time for our ramble to The Moat for Children in Need. A fundraising page has been set up for this event which we would ask parents to use and share rather than bring in cash if possible. Please click on Pudsey to access our JustGiving page.
Families Magazine - a free digital magazine with information about numerous events to occupy your children. This issue is all about Christmas (although it does have a listing of local firework displays as well!). Please click on the picture below to learn more.

Drop in sessions with our Home School Link Worker, Helen Owen - The role of the Home School Link Worker (HSLW) is to support families with a range of issues at home or at school. 1:1 sessions are available on Wednesdays. To book an appointment, email Helen on hslw@st-james-elstead.surrey.sch.uk or ring the school office to request a call back.
