St James E-News

9th January 2020

Welcome to the St James Primary School's E News, a weekly roundup of the latest goings on at the school.

Latest Headteacher Blog

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to a new term and I hope you all had a lovely break, managing to avoid the various bugs that seem to be circulating at the moment!

A new year brings new changes...we've looked closely at your responses to the Governor survey last term and one thing that was a consistent comment was the way we communicate with you each week. As a result we've decided to launch the St James E-news; this is a page on the website that links everything together, my blog, the PTA news, governor news, weekly letters and the school diary. A link to the page will be sent out each week and we hope this will make keeping up with school news a bit easier, so do let us know what you think.

The Governors and I have also put together a Code of Conduct for Parents, Carers, Volunteers and Visitors and revised our Complaints Policy which will be included on the Parent Portal this week. The ethos of St James is very special and is something we all value.  This ethos definitely comes from the strong relationship between school and home and it is something we want to protect for the future.

Best wishes for a lovely weekend,

Valerie Elliott
