At Home with the penguins

This half term Penguins are learning all about home life back in Antarctica. We have looked at maps and globes to see where the South Pole is and have been thinking about the weather too. We also set up a new role play area, our explorer tent.

This week we have been experimenting with ice and different ways it can melt. We used warm water and salt to see which had the biggest impact. We discovered that the warm water worked quickest.

We also decided to make snowmen kebabs out of tasty marshmallows, yum!
