Thank you for all your positive feedback about our new e-news; we've made a couple of tweaks to the format as a result but I would like to thank Marie Wilcox, Y6 parent and governor for helping us to put this together.
Next week on 21st January the Governors of St James are holding an 'Open School' event which will be an opportunity for you to come and meet the governors and me. It will also be an opportunity for us to hear your thoughts on how we may work together to improve our school and ensure our children thrive, to ensure that St James Primary continues to be at the heart of the village community and that the community is at the heart of our school.
There are two sessions running next Tuesday from 2.30pm - 4pm and 6.30pm - 8pm. I look forward to seeing you there!
St James is consulting on our proposed 2021-2022 admissions arrangements. These changes include:
- Addition of priority for children of staff
- Addition of catchment area Peper Harow and Shackleford in line with the new plurality of parishes You can find out more at www.st-james-elstead.surrey.sch.uk/Admissions-copy/
Please provide any comments to the school by midday on 24 January 2020 if you have any.
We have lots of good news this week, lots of money raised and a massive amount of STARS tickets sold…
