D-Day Remembrance
This week we remembered the D-Day landings as a school. Our head pupils then raised our remembrance flag on the school flagpole.
Occasions like this remind us of the need to protect our British values, and how lucky we are to live in a country where we have individual liberty and democracy.
Year 4 will soon be doing a presentation on individual liberty in assembly after learning about what it means to 'be free'.
We give thanks and we will remember them, especially through the names of our houses named after four young Elstead men who lost their lives in World War 2, to protect the values we hold dear.
