Robins, Butterflies and Dragonflies At Forest School
Whilst enjoying the sunny weather at the Forest School site, Robins have also been learning about:
- The life cycles of butterflies and dragonflies. Pond dipping was especially exciting when we found actual dragonfly nymphs to look at. We also designed our own unique butterfly markings with butterfly paintings.
- Reading and Designing Maps. Mrs Greggs set us a challenge to read a 2D map as well as working in groups to design3D maps of St James. We used natural resources and the results were fantastic and some of us enjoyed being cartographers so much that we carried on building our maps for the whole session!
